Full of vocal prowess and some witty lyricism Taxi maintains Eiza’s reputation as one of the most exciting new artists in 2020.
Next on the lineup it’s Crying Beauty Queens with their single Blackbird. Atmospheric and intriguing this track has a sultry yet dark tone to it. A combination of lush guitars, rolling drums and soft yet driving vocals make Blackbird an accomplished track from Crying Beauty Queens. Last but not least it’s Myla Vie with her soulful R&B track Real Love. This single has an effortlessly good old school vibe, combining all the best elements of classic R&B with Myla’s smooth vocals and an easy yet grooving beat. 21-year-old Italian-born singer, Andrea Giovanni, is set to release atmospheric new electropop song, ‘I’ll Take Care of Myself’, set to drop April 15th. Taking influence vocally from Sam Smith and Jess Glynne, the artist delivers a soaring vocal performance that has the potential to appeal both to underground fans and the masses. Marco Casaluce produces the instrumental, opening with brooding synth swells before erupting with some hard-hitting bass.
Raised in Rome, Andrea moved to the UK in 2013 to pursue his dreams as a singer. A sufferer of the rare skin condition vitiligo, Andrea was bullied in the youth for the affliction putting him in a very dark place. His strict Catholic upbringing also made it hard for him to openly come to terms with his bixesuality. Moving to the UK, he was able to finally find acceptance, learning to embrace them as strengths instead of weaknesses.
As he explains himself, ‘I started to see vitiligo as my edge and distinctive characteristic of my personality, a strength. I decided to show it in the covert art-work of the single, ‘taking care of myself’ means also the ability to transform what you’ve always considered weaknesses into beautiful strengths.’
Andrea also has an EP ‘Soultrip’ on the way scheduled for release in July.

The production in supersonic has a lot retro aspects to it! But the melodic vocals have a new feel to them. Franklin Lake are also not new to performing and definitely don’t have stage fright performing with Dappy, Wretch 32, Olly murs and more! Any show they accompany an artist on this summer will just add onto the already amazing list! The new EP will debut on Monday 27th of July!
new single ‘Sunlight’ release on QW-KEYMUSIC it’s set to show the world exactly how it sounds when pop, rap, reggae and EDM are drawn together, his star will continue to rise:
Gritty and raw while still having a polished sheen, ‘Sunlight’ is a single which could well see 2Nice break through from cult status to the mainstream. It’s truly impressive work from a brave and innovative artist not afraid to try new things.
All the more impressive, 2Nice does all this while suffering the debilitating effects of epilepsy. Using music in his everyday battle to overcome the condition, 2Nice finds the creative process soothing – allowing him to turn his thoughts away from an illness he has found it hard to come to terms with.
With his genuinely unique blend of genres, ‘Sunlight’ is just the first assault 2Nice is readying for the mainstream UK music industry this year. Hold on to your hats for 2015.
Currently building a buzz with their live shows in and around London, Cherry White have now taken to the studio to record a brand new EP, ‘Staring at the Sun’. Inspired by life in London during this austerity era, surrounded by the greed of the wealthy, the tracks circle around an aspiration to reach higher and achieve their goals in the music industry and beyond.
Engineered at Bark Studios by the excellent Brian O’Shaughnessy (Primal Scream, The Firm, My Bloody Valentine), the EP does a fantastic job of capturing the frenetic energy of a band who thrive on a live environment.
Cherry White’s live reputation was cemented at ‘Togfest’ in 2014, where their festival debut to a huge crowd was so well received they immediately sold out of albums. Having also taken to the stage at some of London’s top venues, including The Troubadour, Hope and Anchor (Islington) and Covent Garden Arts Theatre, their reputation in our fair capital is beginning to grow. Further afield, a BBC Wales live session a number of years ago proved there’s life outside the city for this eclectic group.
And with the single and EP on the way, Cherry White will be working harder than ever to make sure that reputation continues to grow into the music career they deserve.
EDM specialist producer duo Adventurer, hot from working with the likes of Pendulum, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Young Guns and Pixie Lott, recently got hold of Jones’ single ‘Never Let You Go’. Having fallen in love with the track, they handpicked it for their very own brand of remix treatment, with some thumping results:
The original ‘Never Let You Go’ was written by award winning songwriters Darren Parry, Dan Curtis and Laura Curtis. Darren has achieved UK Songwriting Contest Award wins (2004 winner ‘Pop’), USA ‘Song Of The Year’, USA ‘Billboard’ and USA ‘Unisong’ awards. Meanwhile, Dan and Laura Curtis have had songs recorded by Paul Potts, Broadway stars Ramin Karimloo & Lea Salonga and also wrote the successful, star studded charity track ‘A Miner’s Song’.
And now, with the single given a new lease of life thanks to the attentions of the highly rated Adventurer, Nina Jones and her song writing team can expect a whole new audience to sit up and take notice.
The ‘Never Let You Go’ Adventurer remix will be released on July 6th!
Having worked with renowned producer Dave Allen (The Cure, Human League, Chameleons) to arrive at an energetic studio style, the new single ‘Cool Ella’ is set for release on June 22nd. High energy and built on a foundation of distorted guitars and pounding drums, this is one for fans of the classics.
‘Cool Ella’ is one hell of a way to come out fighting, and with the follow up album due a couple of weeks later on July 13th, you will be hearing a lot more of Crazy Fenton in 2015. The album, produced by British EDM trailblazer Alex Banks (EZ Rollers), is the kind of release which will have the music industry on high alert with its raw song writing and production values.
With lyrics inspired – in Clive Aliker’s own words – by ‘deaths, mental failings, and a complete inability to understand the female species’, these are songs that listeners can’t fail to relate to.
A welcome throwback to the golden ages of punk and rock, Crazy Fenton is the musical brainchild of songwriter Clive Aliker – a Norfolk based artist who is a big fan of making a good old fashioned ruckus. With influences from 60s garage rock and 70s punk all the way through to the modern day, Crazy Fenton is the work of a veteran musician who certainly knows how to rattle out a top tune.
And in ‘Cool Ella’, Crazy Fenton has picked out one hell of an entrance.
Based in South West London, BowLDN is a solo artist and producer who is no stranger to going against the grain. Working hard to create a unique hip hop sound all of his own, he has consciously stepped away from the pigeonholing and standardisation of the music industry to create something new.
The latest example of his unusual sound is his track ‘Survivor’, a fittingly named single about overcoming adversity to make a better life for yourself – a subject with which BowLDN has a lot of experience.
Diagnosed with learning difficulties at a relatively late stage in his schooling, BowLDN was initially told by his mainstream school that he wouldn’t pass his GCSE exams. Taking the decision to leave behind a school who had lost faith, he studied for his GCSEs at a YMCA training school, eventually passing each subject and specialising in music.
Moving on to college, he once again found himself lost in the shuffle, and getting in with the wrong crowd. A scrape with the law left him sentenced to one year’s probation and 30 hours community service.
Encouraged as part of his sentence to join a drama group called Bare Truths, BowLDN met a supportive group of people who allowed him to express himself creatively for perhaps the first time. Once his sentence was up, and he was no longer required to attend the group, he continued anyway – learning with each session and honing his creative outlet.
The next step is the release of ‘Survivor’ on June 22nd. From there – who knows?
West London band, All This Noise are ones to watch for 2015, with their original and individual sound. They are very different to anything we have heard, with a fresh new take on alternative rock. Their new single ‘Seven Billion Like You’ is set for release on 15 June 2015, and it is already causing a buzz within the industry.
All This Noise’s sound has been compared to that of The Cure, Radiohead and Depeche Mode. The band are starting to put their own stamp on alternative rock, with cleverly written lyrics taking us into the mind of the band, a rarity in modern music. The single has a very original sound – relaxed with a slightly haunting twist – and they manage to cross multiple genres seamlessly.
Single to be accompanied by B Side track, ‘The Return’
“An intriguing blend of genre and ideas” – Alphabet Bands
“Very much a band to watch out for in 2015” Rock ‘N’ Roll Creation
“Sophisticated and elaborate touches” Unsigned and Independent Magazine
Forming in late 2014 the band have gone from strength to strength, gaining a large amount of coverage from multiple online blogs. The singer and lead guitarist, James, has worked as a sub-editor for Mixmag and has been published in The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Independent.
A brand new duo from the North East of England, Dalimore are Dan Bishop and Nathan Brewis who formed as a duo late in 2014 having previously worked on separate musical projects. It hasn’t taken long for them to find their sound, with new single ‘Higher’ due for release on May 11th.
With comparisons to the likes of Kodaline, The Fray, The Script, Coldplay, Ben Howard and more, their tracks blend genres from indie, via soul, to pop-rock, taking in influences from their own individual backgrounds and mixing them to great effect.
You can hear the single ‘Higher’ on YouTube now, with a full official video due May 1st:
With the single recorded and ready for release, the pair are now working on ideas for their first EP, collecting together new tracks to continue on their journey to spread their music as far and wide as possible.
