New music Friday, it’s time for our Fresh Hit Radar

It’s that time again where we share some of the very best new releases from this week. This collection of tracks comes from ALL genres and styles but with one thing in common, they’re all great tunes.

Let’s get into the Music!

First up it’s Scottish songstress Roma Rose with her track How to Feel. This slow Pop number is a truly feel good tune, easy synths and Roma Rose’s soft vocals create a pure sounding and smooth track. Rolling drums sit underneath Roma’s heavenly harmonies as she spills her honest lyricism. Play this one on a slow Sunday afternoon in the living room.

Next up we have itsreeves with track Left N Right. This talented artist creates ‘product without genre’, a true fusion of elements of Pop, Lo-Fi, R&B and more into a blend that’s smooth sultry and curious. Left N Right is a catchy number with itsreeves’ raw yet subtle vocal style reminiscent of talents such as Mac Miller. This track’s catchy beat and simply pure synths are a certified easy listen.

Next up it’s the ultra smooth Christine Nguyen with track Finding Happiness, feat. Jhalon. This track is pure R&B brilliance, bright guitars, sultry vocals and roomy drum pads. Christine Nguyen’s lyricism has a sad yet beautiful feel to it, an emotive songstress whose soft delivery flows like water. With a sound reminiscent of Jhene Aiko, Christine Nguyen brings talent and potential galore to the table. Listen Below.

The final addition to our Fresh Hit Radar this week is an ethereal electro track from Gefahrgeist titled Graceless. A little different to what you may be listening to but this track is executed excellently. Pure toned vocals, haunting harmonies and some picture perfect production make for a quality electro track from this Scottish duo. An easy feeling electro single that brings a relaxing feel to a typically hectic genre. Take a listen below.

First up it’s Roveena with her power ballad Fly. This smooth yet atmospheric track is pure soulful pop brilliance. With huge vocals, haunting harmonies and soft piano Fly will have you feeling unstoppable. Fly is a cinematic soundscape you won’t want to miss, get ready to be motivated and ready to take on the world after a listen.

Switching it up it’s In The Forest with their Indie-folk track On the Run. This four piece acoustic band harmonises effortlessly to create a vocal blend that is naturally beautiful and purely instinctive. On the Run will have you feeling free as a bird, and ultra relaxed on your weekend. Listen below.

Tacking it up a notch it’s Four Crooks with their stand-out single Black Magic. This track is a driving yet grooving indie-rock track from the four piece. Deep vocals, gritty guitars and a rocking beat leaves us wanting more from this talented foursome. Listen below-

Switching it up for the final track by bringing you a stunning video! These Streets is an accomplished Pop-Rock from Killing Kenny. Accompanied by an emotive and powerful video These Streets is a heartwarming track to soundtrack your weekend. As the UK goes back into lockdown for a second time, Killing Kenny is back to lift our spirits and warm our hearts.

This week’s Fresh Hit Radar is our best lineup yet

Another Friday, another Fresh Hit Radar feature. This week is really something special, an incredible lineup full of fierce female talent that you’ll find impossible to fault. So, without further delay, let’s dive straight into the music.

Kicking off our list is a debut single from Irish singer-songwriter and vocalist Eiza Murphy. Single Blackhole is Eiza’s first ever release and what a strong start she makes. Emotive, powerful and moving Blackhole is a power ballad that established Eiza Murphy as an incredible songwriter and ethereal vocalist. Eiza Murphy is certainly one to watch in music. Next up is familiar face to the platform Lohrd Snohw with latest track You Look Like A Friend, featuring fellow female talent EM. Light, bouncy and free YLLAF is a feel good track from this fearless duo. Grooving and intriguing this single draws you in and leaves you wanting more. Perfect harmonies, light hearted synths and a busy beat, what more could we ask for? Listen to You Look Like A Friend Now-

Next up it’s Odillia with her pure R&B brilliance single Break It Down. This track is the perfect middle ground between Pop and Hip-Hop, a seamless blend of style that features none other than Snoop Dogg. Break It Down will have you dancing round the kitchen whilst wishing the clubs were open again.

Rounding up our list is the talented EEVAH with Alt-Pop track Apology. With driving guitars, smooth vocals and rising synths Apology is a stunning single that combines all the best elements of Pop, Electro and rock. A true mixing pot of genre that creates a powerful and attitude packed single from the incredible EEVAH. Apology is Pop Playlister’s first introduction to this artist, making EEVAH our favourite new music discovery of the week.

The latest releases you NEED to have on your playlist this weekend

It’s time for another instalment of the best music we’ve discovered this week, a collection of new releases you’ll wish you heard sooner. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter for a chance to submit your track and be featured on the Fresh Hit Radar.

Kicking off the list is the talented India Dupriez with brand new single Kiss and Tell, a collaboration with Multi-Grammy nominated producer Boom Dice. This track couldn’t be hotter off the press as the stunning single was released TODAY (9th Oct). Upbeat, catchy and commercial Kiss and Tell is a classic Pop anthem. Kiss and Tell is a stunning single from the Australian talent and yet another beautifully produced track from Boom Dice. Big things are ahead for this incredible artist.

Next up it’s UK based Krankhead with their stand out new single Space Coupe. Driving, gritty and catchy this track is trap infused greatness. With intriguing synths, a rocking guitar and some clever bars we couldn’t ask for more from the talented duo. Space Coupe is accompanied by a caricature and lighthearted video which sees the duo dress up as Marty Mcfly and Doc respectively, guaranteed to make you smile AND Space Coupe is a must have on your playlist this weekend.

Third on our list is Kelsey Coleman with single Break Mine. No stranger to the Pop Playlister platform, Kelsey has already established herself as an exciting and innovative talent breaking onto the Pop scene. Smooth vocals sitting over gritty guitars creates a picture perfect contrast, and truly stunning Pop single. Listen for yourself and soak up all that talent!

The next hit to make it onto our radar is Melanie Masson’s Why Don’t You Love Me. Why Don’t You Love Me is the definition of a power ballad, featuring Melanie’s hugely impressive vocal prowess and some grooving brass sections that tie together into one of the best singles we’ve heard so far this year. Feel good and full of female power, Melanie Masson’s Why Don’t You Love Me has quickly become a Pop Playlister favourite.

Star on the rise, Jack Rose releases stand-out new single ‘Better On My Own’

Singer-songwriter and rising star Jack Rose is back to bless us with another single titled Better On My Own.

Better On My Own is a vibrant and upbeat Pop track from Jack Rose, set for release on 25th September 2020. Collaborating with producer duo SK and featuring that unmistakable hook line from Annie Lennox’s iconic song “No More I You’s” the track is bursting with talent, musicality and bounce.

With a positive yet subliminal message behind the track, Better On My Own lets the listener know that there are times in life when we all need to walk away from a toxic relationship for the good of our own mental health.

A hugely important and prominent message from Jack Rose and one he should be commended for.

Fired up and ready to go, Jack’s latest single firmly establishes him as one of the brightest young talents in the UK music scene. Tipped to be a British Justin Timberlake, it’s no surprise that the new single has been backed with a host of top remixes (Billy Da Kid, Dots Per Inch, Morlando and more).

The hardworking young songwriter has already clocked up an insane 250 live shows and has built a large and fiercely loyal following on social media, and it’s not hard to see why.

Having toured with the legendary Faith Evans and supported the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Shane Lynch (Boyzone), Dane Bowers (Another Level) and Abz Love (Five) to name a few, Jack Rose has cemented himself as next up in UK music and is not one to be slept on.

Fresh Hit Fridays- This week’s musical highlights

It’s time for another dose of Fresh Hits that NEED to be on your radar.

It’s been another amazing week of new releases, here’s just a few of them to soundtrack your weekend.

First up it’s Lil T.O with track with track Beautiful. Following in the footsteps of his late classmate XXXTentacion, this rapper is brimming with young talent. His trap infused track is bouncing and infectious, with a heavy hitting beat and witty lyricism Beautiful is a must have on your favourite playlists.

Next is the talented Hannah Elkins with her summery single ‘Breathe Deep’. With soulful harmonies and a voice that is truly ethereal, Breathe Deep is the perfect blend between Pop, Soul and Indie. A huge accomplishment for the young singer who has plenty more music in the works. Keep your eye on this one.

The Structures and their Future Pop power anthem Hopely makes the next addition to our Fresh Hit Feature. Heavenly vocals contrasting with a heavy electro instrumental make for a perfect juxtaposition, and sound out Future-Pop single. A blend between light and dark, smooth and heavy, this tune is a huge accomplishment for The Structures.

Our final addition to the playlist is one-woman-wonder Jessmo, with her stunning Dance It All Out EP. A classically trained song writer and multi-instrumentalist, this young star is brimming with talent. Dance It All Out is a stunning 4 track project from Jessmo, who combines modern rhythm and beats without diluting the powerful lyricism that comes naturally to her. Feel good Pop-dance beats meets emotive and heartfelt lyrics, Jessmo is clearly a star on the rise.

The Fresh Hits you NEED on your radar this week…

We’re back with another update of our Fresh Hit Radar playlist, if you haven’t already check it out here and give us a follow. We received so many incredible submissions this week it was hard to pick our featuring artists, keep the music coming for a chance to be in next week’s post! 

Kicking off the list is a summer tune from Sonny Lover Boy titled Tropical Planet. The track is bright, grooving and smooth. An instrumental single with a soothing vibe and the perfect tune to soundtrack a slow Sunday afternoon. Sonny Lover Boy is pure lofi brilliance, a talented producer and summery beat maker.

Next is Pop powerhouse India Dupriez with her huge single How. An artist who transcends any single genre with elements of Pop, Indie, Electro and beyond India is truly an artist in her own lane. How is an eerie Pop track, featuring India’s pure toned, powerful vocals, haunting harmonies and sultry synths. The single emanates quality, talent and potential. India Dupriez is definitely one to watch and next up in 2020.

Switching it up with a Folk infused Indie track from Willy Nilly titled Misbehave. Featuring rich harmonies, gritty vocal styles and energetic guitars Misbehave is a bouncing, catchy Indie track. Willy Nilly ooze musical quality and authenticity with an incredibly unique sounding lead singer Misbehave is a great first impression from the band on the Pop Playlister team. We can’t wait to hear more from them.

The Hardest Thing by Sallee is our next addition to the playlist. An Alt-Pop princess hailing from Melbourne Australia but making Music with the potential to go global. The Hardest Thing is a powerful anthem, with Sallee’s soothing vocal style, driving beat and haunting synths. Sallee’s songwriting draws on her real life experiences, Love, success, identity and heartbreak. This young singer songwriter shows great promise.

The final addition to our Fresh Hit Radar post is Madison Olds with anthem Best Part of Me. Electro-Pop at its finest, Best Part of Me is a summer pop tune to roll down the windows and blast out the car on a sunny day. The singer songwriter has set her sights on greatness and is set to become Canada’s next big breakthrough artist.

Fresh Music for your Friday, the best tracks we’ve heard this week

Once again we’re back to give you another dose of Fresh Music for your Friday, a highlight of the Pop Playlister team’s week. We love sharing the best new releases that NEED to be on your playlist.

Kicking off our Fresh Music list this week is the fantastic Kelsey Coleman. Kelsey Coleman is a rising young star, full of raw and authentic talent with a classic Pop style. Just when we thought the track couldn’t get any better, EDM duo Breathe Carolina picked it up for a remix. Making what was already a powerful pop single, a stand-out tune for the summer. We’re very excited to watch Kelsey Coleman succeed.

Now we’re a bit of a tease for this one but we couldn’t resist sharing. Millie Manders & the Shutups are set to release another powerful, striking single Bitter (coming 7th August), a final release ahead of their debut album Telling Truth, Breaking Ties. Millie Manders & the Shutups are pure authentic Punk, full of venom, power and drive. It’s great to see a female led band on the scene, we for one can’t wait for Bitter’s release. Until then fill your boots with Millie Manders & the Shutups ‘The Story’ for a taste of greatness.

Next up is a familiar face to the Pop Playlister team. The talented Lohrd Snohw has already featured on a Fresh Music playlist but she is back with even more great music we couldn’t resist a second mention. Dogs is the latest single from the weird and wonderful Lohrd Snohw, a UK songwriting talent whose vocal style is nothing short of mesmerising. The Pop Playlister team were lucky enough to interview her ahead of the release, keep your eyes peeled for a full feature on the rising star that is Lohrd Snohw.

For the final addition to our Fresh Music playlist we’re slowing it down with Beautiful Disaster by Rachel Chinouriri and SAM DOTIA. A fitting title for the heavenly track, emotive and powerful featuring the stunning vocals of Rachel and Sam respectively. The two make an unstoppable combination, a beautiful track and a striking display of talent.

Brite Spires are fired up and ready to go with their latest single ‘Youth Music Disco (2020 Version)’. Described as an electro-disco utopian dream, it comes as no surprise that Brite Spires have already received their accolades from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6.

Brite Spires combines the best musical talents from across the globe: Natalia Stark, singer, Russian born and Georgia raised, Fischer Luigi, bassist, hails from Italy and Drummer Cal Brumhead and Guitarist Drew Atkins are a pair of Oxfordshire natives currently residing in London.

‘Youth Music Disco (2020)’ is the debut for Brite Spire’s new singer Natalia Stark, making them a female fronted, electro infused, indie-pop band. Filled with elements of the Synth Pop sound of the 80s and 90s ‘Youth Music Disco (2020)’ is a lush, melodic and bouncy track.

The international electro-disco dream team have a distinct sound, combining their individual musical influences into a powerhouse of indie-pop disco beats, paired with irresistible songwriting.

‘Youth Music Disco (2020)’ is a synth filled song for the summer. With a female at the front of the helm, Brite Spires are destined for greatness.

Börni reaches ‘New Heights’ of success with her latest release.

Swiss Pop star Börni reminds us just how unique she is with her latest release titled ‘New Heights’. The versatile star has already established herself as an exciting talent in the pop world, working with megastars Sean Kingston and Celine Dion, and receiving the highest of praises from publications such as Hello! and Billboard.

Börni has been honing her talents from a young age, from her childhood in Zürich, Switzerland to the palm trees of LA, the star’s passion for music has never faltered. By following this passion, she has been taken to places all hopeful pop stars dream of, including singing for Celine Dion in a stadium of almost 50,000. How’s that for something to tick off your bucket list?

Yet ‘New Heights’ is the music Börni has always dreamed of making, a power anthem that identifies her work as a refreshing and unique take on the traditional pop scene.
